“Great listener” and “Always there to help out” are the two most consistent ways my friends, family and customers have always described me. I feel these are two very important components to helping someone buy or sell a house. If I'm not willing to listen to what you need, how you need it and why you need it, I'm missing the boat here and doing you a disservice. And especially in this market with real estate moving at such a fast clip, you need a Realtor who will always be there to respond quickly to all the hiccups and hurdles that arise when buying and selling property.

I've spent all of my career in sales and customer service. One of my first jobs out of school and probably my favorite job, was working at a jewelry store in Beverly Hills. This was quite the eye opener for a twenty-something from Iowa. The amount of care and attention to detail that our customers expected and demanded from us was invaluable and something I've carried with me throughout the rest of my career. I also had a wonderful opportunity working for a precious stone dealer in downtown Los Angeles who serviced clients all over the world, matching gemstones with designers. Most recently, I owned an Artisan Gift Gallery in Wisconsin in which we represented the work of over 100 different artists from all across the US.

My interest in Real Estate stems from my father who was a small developer, my brother who is a contractor and my step-mother who is a real estate agent. Every family gathering involved some shop talk of real estate or building homes. I always loved touring the spec homes right before they went on the market making a mental note of what I loved and what I would have done differently. So, as my husband and I became empty nesters, the time was right for me to pursue a career in Real Estate, something I had always dreamed of.

When I'm not helping clients, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My husband and I love getting out on the area lakes, especially early in the morning. He loves to fish, while I enjoy the solitude and peacefulness of being on the lake and watching nature all around us. We also love having the kids, family and friends over for backyard barbecues. I love to cook and bake and am always searching for my next favorite recipe. Occasionally, we get to escape a little farther away and spend time at the ocean. For me, having my toes stuck in the sand, a cocktail with a little umbrella in my hand and the shimmering, majestic ocean out in front of me is my ultimate escape!

My goal for every real estate transaction I have is to leave you feeling that I truly understood and met your needs, your wants and your desires and that I was with you every step of the way helping you understand the process, figuring out ways to get past hurdles and taking much of the stress off your shoulders of most likely one of the biggest monetary transactions in your life.
